Powerkuff is a bracelet type device which, when wrapped around the electric wire that connects to your house or business to the electric / hydro meter. Installation

  • Bend Powerkuff until it "snaps" into the curved position.

How Does Powerkuff Works?


A home electric meter reads the higher of the 240-volt wires ( or legs) and a neutral wire running into it. An electro magnetic field imbalance is created when electric lights and appliances are used at different times and for varying durations. Ideally, an electrician should balance the loads in your breaker panel when your house is built and rebalance them when large appliances are added. Unfortunately, this never happens and the result is an imbalance that your meter reads as an "extra load" and your checkbook registers as an "extra expense" The graph shows a 0-100 kilowatt hourdata analysis. The top line represents a 15-amp difference between legs over the entire range or an 18% high reading. With Powerkuff applied, there is a 5% reduction in this high reading (blue shaded area). If the load were perfectly balanced there would be no error and no benefit from Powerkuff (black line).

In an ideal world, there would be a digital meter that automatically balances the energy load, but we are not there yet. This is the reason why Powerkuff (U.S. patents 4,717,872 & #4,754,218) was specifically devised.

It is important you should never violate or tamper with your electric meter, and any questions about it's accurancy should be addressed by your electric utility. "Powerkuff amazing" I put Powerkuff 8 inches away from meter. In December I used 14-15 kilowatt hours per day before Powerkuff. I installed a capacitor bank and lowered it to 11-12 per day. Then I used the Powerkuff, it is now 8-9 kilowatt hours per day in January. This is at least 10 percent. In used in May with no furnace 10 kilowatt hours per day.This Powerkuff is incredible.
